Situated in the countryside of Leicestershire near Lutterworth and Market Harborough, Hunters Lodge Care Home is a 15-room facility providing 24/7 residential care for those with dementia, epilepsy, autism, PMLD and Prader-Willi syndrome. The aim of Hunters Lodge is to create a comfortable and homely atmosphere for all residents.
This facility is managed by Jade Stone, who oversees NVQ level 2-3 qualified support workers, with English, Romanian and Korean all spoken to aid communication with residents.
Hunters Lodge has an outdoor courtyard with seating for residents to relax in and seven rooms have an en-suite (with an adapted communal shower room). There is street parking for visitors and pets can be discussed on an individual basis. Food at Hunters Lodge is cooked by staff with the residents, keeping everyone involved in preparing meals.
There is plenty to keep residents entertained and stimulated, with activities ranging from animal therapy and beauty sessions to movie nights and themed parties. Local trips to farms, parks, theatres and shops are often organised for those residents able to get out and about.
Where possible, holidays and day trips further afield are arranged, giving residents a chance to relax in different surroundings.
